Group Formation
Purpose
Group Formation allows FeedbackFruits to create student groups automatically. With one click, the groups can then be transferred to the course groups in Canvas.
The groups are based on questions set by the teacher, which students answer in advance, for example about preferences, availability, skills, or other relevant factors. The teacher can choose whether students with similar responses should be placed together to create more homogeneous groups, or whether students with different responses should be grouped together so that their strengths complement one another.
Questions can also be weighted differently, allowing some criteria to have a greater influence on how the groups are formed.
