FeedbackFruits is a Canvas add-on that is being used in more and more courses. It includes a variety of tools for peer review, group work, self-assessment, team-based learning, and other activities that require student participation. The FeedbackFruits tools fall into three main categories:

  • Tools for making learning materials interactive
  • Tools related to feedback and assessment
  • Tools that involve student collaboration and discussion

FeedbackFruits activities are generally quite user-friendly, and detailed student guides in English are available for each tool. If your teacher asks you to complete a FeedbackFruits activity, it is a good idea to ask which tool is being used so you can watch the short video and review the correct instructions.

Interactive Tools

Interactive Audio is a FeedbackFruits tool that turns audio content into an active and interactive learning experience instead of having students listen passively. The teacher can add questions and discussion points directly into the audio, and students can respond, take part in discussions, and mark specific points in the material if they want to ask a question or make a comment. This can help students work through the material at their own pace and prepare more effectively for class.

Interactive Video is used to engage actively with video content. Your teacher can add questions and discussion prompts inside the video, and students can respond, ask questions, and join discussions directly alongside the material.
