FeedbackFruits Interactive Audio
Purpose
Audio recordings and podcasts are important in many courses. However, listening in itself does not require much active participation from students, and they are largely passive while listening. The interactive element involves adding questions or discussion threads to the recording timeline, encouraging students to engage with the material, respond to questions, and interact with one another.
This interactivity also makes it possible for the teacher to use a flipped classroom approach, where students listen to a recording, answer questions, and/or take part in discussion at home, while class time is used to explore the subject in greater depth, for example through discussion.
In addition, the teacher can allow students to post comments or start discussions linked to specific points in the recording timeline, further increasing their autonomy in learning.
