FeedbackFruits Peer Review
Purpose
Peer Review is mainly intended as part of the learning process, not as part of final grading. Students review one another’s work using criteria set by the teacher, such as a rubric, and in doing so gain insight into both the assignment criteria and how their own work may be viewed by others.
Peer review can help students understand the task more deeply, encounter different perspectives, and improve their own work before final submission. It is important to explain clearly what students should review, how they should give feedback, and how feedback differs from grading. Feedback is meant to support improvement, while grading is used to evaluate work against a scale and may contribute to the final mark.
