Discussions
Discussions lets you view all discussions in your course and take part in both course and group discussions. When you write a discussion post or reply, you use the Rich Content Editor, so it can be helpful to get familiar with that tool as well.
Note: Your teacher may choose to hide Discussions from the Course Navigation menu. If that happens, you may still be able to access discussions from other Canvas areas, such as Modules.
You can browse discussion posts, search for specific words or names, or show only unread replies. Posts are often displayed with the newest first. In some discussions, the teacher controls how replies are shown, so the available view options may be limited.
