It is possible to add questions at specific points in a recording or video timeline. When the video is played, it pauses at each question so the student can answer before continuing. Videos with embedded questions can be shared like other Studio videos, for example, through the Canvas editor.

If student responses should be graded in the Canvas gradebook or count toward the final grade, the video must be added to an assignment. In the assignment settings, set Submission Type to External Tool, choose Canvas Studio, and then select the video quiz.
